These are patents that show the creativity that I used to help a company turn around it's balance sheet. They allowed the company to produce these innovative products with patent protection.


Innovative way to manufacture and install plastic inserts without using glue and no gaps. This makes them meet FDA requirements (no glue) and without the gaps, no place for bacteria to grow. The plastic allows the mold to keep releasing the product without requiring recoating.

Compression molding just like rotary and injection molding also has ejection problems. But, the problem is doubled because the product is molded from the bottom and the top. Just like in rotary molding there was a need in the market to compression mold food products and then to eject them without leaving any marks (deformations).

Air Eject for Compression Molding Plates


Trying to mold sticky substances, they do not want to release. In plastic injection molds ejector pins are used to eject the part. However, they leave a deformaty (mark) on the part. What I developed is method to eject with air WITHOUT leaving a deformity. The porous ejection material is machined matching the contour of the mold. The end product has no deformations.

Rotary Tool Ejection


In using an air ejection cavity on a rotary die, the entire die roll is rotating. A method was needed to to supply the air to the cavities and to allow for timing and dwell adustments. This patent handles that.
